*********** Mirror ***********
Your mirror and case are made of acrylic. (aka Plexiglas) The benefits of acrylic is that it comes in many different colors, it's easy to clean, it machines easily, and it is light weight when compared to glass. A couple of disadvantages are that it's not scratch resistent, and it can collect static. Take care not to stress rear mounting screws. If the mirror is bumped hard enough, the insert nuts could crack the acrylic. For this reason, two of the six mounting sites were designed as backup.
Cleaning acrylic
Use an anti-static cleaning detergent specifically for acrylic. An example includes Blue Ribbon Plexi-Clean Acrylic and Plastic Cleaner found on Amazon. Do not use alcohol products to clean. (This includes Windex and glass cleaners.) Doing so degrades the material. You should also use a soft mirofiber cloth. This will minimize lint and prevent scratching that paper towels and scouring compounds will cause.
********* Lighting *********
Your vanity lighting compares to professional specifications. This includes light intensity, color rendering, color temperature, and diffusion.
To minimize LED failure,
Use the power converter supplied with your vanity. Its load rating is compatible with your design.
Ensure ventilation holes are not blocked.
Do not let water into the mirror case.
Note that LED lighting is known to flicker simultaneously with the household power supply. This is most often a temporary condition and does not indicate a problem with your vanity lighting.
************ Wood ************
Your vanity table is treated with Natura Clear Hard-wax Oil. It is recommended to clean using a cloth soaked in water-diluted dish soap. After wiping clean, wipe off soap residue with plain water. Lastly, remove water using a dry towel. Hard-wax oils are popular due to their ease of application. It is recommended to re-treat once it appears that liquids are no longer being repelled.
