This bed design was a solution to a prior problem-bed. It was SO LOUD! Every little movement resulted in the most annoying squeaking and rattling. Strong mortise and tenon joints with collapsible hardware. Frame made of solid poplar whitewashed and clear-coated. Soft-close drawers. Best of all, bottom drawers and carcass are completely isolated from the bed! So what does that mean? Silence.
